On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1789, the Reverand Elijah Craig was recognized for distilling the first bourbon. It is believed that the reverend was the first person to distill whiskey from maize and the drink was called bourbon because he lived in Bourbon County, Kentucky.

    Guess what I invented the twisted-history drinking game! Every time you post about sheep or monkeys or something you take a drink, and every time you psost about any kind of booze you take two fdrinks. You probably can’t tell but I’ve been playing it a lot time. In fact I think I’m winning!
