On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1974 the Cleveland Indians thought “Ten Cent Beer Night” would be a way to put fans in the seats. It did. It also brought them out of the seats and many acts of inappropriate behavior were documented. The Indians ended up forfeiting the game to the Texas Rangers due to the drunken and unruly Cleveland fans.
