On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 2004 the U.S. Senate voted (61-38) on the Unborn Victims of Violence Act (H.R. 1997) to make it a separate crime to harm a fetus during the commission of a violent federal crime. In 2018 the Senate voted (64 to 33) on the Waiting On The Sperm Donation Violence Act (H.R. 2465) to make it a crime if a woman’s eggs are harmed during the commission of a violent federal crime, but it did vote down (o to 100) Sperms Are Nearly People Too Act (H.R. 2466) that would make kicking a man in the balls and destroying the sperm currently residing there a crime during the commission of a violent federal crime.
