On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! on this date in 1618, Johann Kepler discovered his third Law of Planetary Motion, which state that the square of the orbital period of a planet is proportional to the cube of the semi-major axis of its orbit. For those of us who are not astronomically inclined, this was some major shit-reckoning for the planetary scientists of the 17th century. For the rest of us, Kelper also discovered the 6th law of pub etiquette, which was “don’t try to drink a catholic priest under the table’ as alcohol is the only vice those rascals are allowed to have.
