On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1908 Albert Einstein presented his quantum theory of light in which he stated that light actually exists as tiny particles which he named photons. He also proposed the very shocking idea that the entire universe was built out of tiny, discrete chunks of energy and matter. William Reed, author of “Phantom of the Poles” stated his disagreement with Einstein’s work and said that it was ‘just’ a theory, like evolution was ‘just’ a theory and a lot less believable. Reed further argued that if the world’s scientists were going to discuss and start testing Einstein’s theory, they should at least read his geological theories about the Earth’s fundamental nature and help him search for an entrance to the Earth’s hollow core.
