On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1913, Georgia “Tiny” Broadwick became the first woman to parachute from an airplane. When she was asked why she did it, she said she was given the choice of either jumping or having sex with the pilot. Upset and angry, the interviewer quickly demanded, “You jumped, didn’t you?” “Tiny” nodded and replied, “Yes, a little bit at first, but then when we got done I was given the parachute and was able to use it to jumped out of the plane.”
