On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1783 the first daily newspaper was published in the U.S. by Benjamin Towner called “The Pennsylvania Evening Post”. Within a week, the newspaper had received its first letter from a reader complaining about the newspaper’s liberal agenda.
